Snow Removal Cost, City by City

Nobody publishes a price for your suburb. Two established operators publish metro ranges, and every city then moves a quote inside that range for reasons that are specific and checkable: whether the sidewalk is yours or the city’s, what the parking ban does to access, and what the driveways look like. One page per city, none of them guessing.

Minneapolis and Saint Paul

The Core Cities Have Their Own Page

The two core cities are where sidewalk ordinances double a quote on a corner lot and where alleys change what is being cleared at all. That is covered in depth on the Minneapolis and Saint Paul cost page, with the neighborhood pages behind it. The suburbs below each get their own.

The Suburbs

Who Clears the Sidewalk Decides Most of It

The single largest variable in a residential quote is public sidewalk frontage, and whether it is even in scope depends on the city. The table sorts the suburbs by that one fact, from the city’s own published rule.

Public sidewalk responsibility as each city publishes it. “Owner” means an ordinance puts the adjacent walk on you, with the deadline shown; “City” means municipal crews clear it; “Not published” means the city states no rule and this site supplies none.

Each city’s full rules, with the city’s own wording, are on its service-area page. Coon Rapids, Chaska and Hugo are served but have no page here because their city sites block automated reading and no verified rule could be published.
